Live music
Spacey Jane will be returning to South Australia with their If That Makes Sense tour.
The indie rock band are known for their controversial second place in Triple J’s 2020 Hottest 100.
Their single “Booster Seat” lost to Glass Animals’ “Heat Waves” which sparked a debate about whether Australian musicians should be valued over international acts in the yearly competition.
The band will perform at Hindley St Music Hall on Saturday, June 21.
Tickets are unfortunately sold out, so snatch up any re-sale tickets you can find.
Skegss will be returning to Adelaide after their performance at St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in February.
With tickets selling at $68.71 each, this gig is an excellent way to affordably support live music in Australia.
The iconic Aussie band will perform at Hindley St Music Hall on June 19 at 7:30pm.

Cultural celebrations
Ancient World will be celebrating its fourth annual QUEER CLUB for Pride Month!
The annual event will feature performances from three queer bands, three queer DJs, and special guests.
Come together and support some triumphant local queer musicians and celebrate Adelaide’s vibrant diversity.
The pride celebration will be held on June 14 from 7:30pm to 3am.

Pirate Life Brewing is hosting the weekly fifty quiz starting from June 5.
The brewers are calling for all quiz enthusiasts to head to Port Adelaide each Wednesday night for their weekly trivia fix.
So, rally your friends and grab a beer to prepare for Pirate Life Brewing’s weekly fifty quiz on Wednesdays from 7pm.
Adelaide Cabaret Festival is back and better than ever.
With performances from Jessica Mauboy, Bobby Fox, and Clare Bowditch, this program won’t disappoint.

If you thrive in colder weather, The Brighton Winter Solstice is the place for you.
Brighton’s Jetty Road will be transformed into a cosy celebration with fire pits, live music, and activities for the little ones.
Head down to Jetty Road on June 21 between 4pm and 9pm.
World Gin Day falls on June 14 this year and Hains & Co is holding a cocktail lover’s dream event.
The bar will be serving up special gin cocktails such as Never Never Distilling Co’s Oyster Shell Gin ‘Shelly’ Martini and much more.
If you’re one for sweets rather than alcohol, the event will include a gelato station by Bottega Gelateria.
The event is free and will be held at Hains & Co on Gilbert Place from 4pm to 7pm.
Stew and Shiraz could be the key to your food and wine fix this winter.
Whistler Wines in the Barossa Valley will be serving up a stacked menu of stews, pies, curries, and sweet tarts paired with beautiful local wines.
The Stew and Shiraz event is set to happen on June 8 between 10:30am and 5pm.
The Hills Winter Lantern Fest is a free event showcasing an extravagant dusk lantern parade.
Echunga’s local community and schools began working on the lantern sculptures during April in preparation for the big event.
The Lantern Fest will include exciting live music, food stalls, a fire mural, and a lantern making workshop.
Head down to Echunga Community Park at 802 Echunga Road on Saturday, June 14 from 3pm to 8pm to check out some sparkling local art.
