Local gigs

The Rions is a four-piece Australian indie band set to rock the highly anticipated Spilt Milk festival in December… but before that the band is heading to Adelaide.

This show will wrap up its nation-wide tour at Hindley St Music Hall on October 18.

Electronicore pioneers I See Stars are back in Australia for the first time in a decade and a half on the back of their new album, THE WHEEL.

Non-stop festivals

Adelaide’s 2025 CheeseFest is every foodie’s dream come true.

The food festival is holding free tastings, cooking demonstrations, raclette bars, and wine masterclasses in Rundle Park from October 18 to 19.

2024’s CheeseFest led to 15 tonnes of cheese being devoured at the festival… and event planners are determined to beat that this year.

Tickets are available here and include a free wine glass, tote bag, and access to plenty of cheesy stalls.

The Harvest Rock music festival is returning to Adelaide after taking a year-long break in 2024.

The festival is bringing some of music’s hottest names to SA including The Strokes, Royel Otis, The War on Drugs, and many more.

Make your way to Rymill and King Rodney Parks on October 25 and 26 for a weekend of music, food, and wine.

Adelaide Film Festival (AFF) kicks off on October 15 until October 26.

The festival will dive into 11 jam-packed days of feature films, galas, filmmaker appearances, shorts and documentaries.

OzAsia prides itself on being Australia’s leading contemporary arts festival engaging with Asia.

This celebration includes performing and visual arts shows, instalments and talk shows.

This includes the delicious Lucky Dumpling Market: an open food market at Adelaide’s gorgeous Elder Park.

The OzAsia festival runs from October 17 to November 9.

Fashion and food

Iconic jeweller Gerard McCabe is returning with its second annual Antique Jewellery Roadshow.

Bring your favourite piece of antique jewellery along to Adelaide Arcade to learn more about its history, make, and the craft that went into it.

This event will run on October 17 from 9:30am to 3:30pm.

SOL Rooftop will be offering the ultimate girl dinner this month: $8 unlimited French fries.

For the entirety of October, the bar will be serving up unlimited golden fries from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday to Sunday.
