Feeling stressed by 2026’s craziness so far? Why not unwind with a drink?

The Gin and Spirits Festival is coming to Adelaide’s Convention Centre from June 12-14.

Treat yourself to a three-hour tasting session of unlimited gin samples from 45 of Australia’s best gin distillers. The festival will also host masterclasses: immersive sessions hosted by distilleries where you’ll learn more about their stories and crafts.

The Convention Centre café will provide hot and cold food, and you’ll even receive a complimentary red tote bag to fill with your favourite drinks from your visit. Get tickets here.

Craving something louder? Luckily for you, the Adelaide Cabaret Festival kicks off on June 4 and runs through to June 21. Taking place at the Adelaide Festival Centre and directed by acclaimed performer Reuben Kaye, the festival boasts a vast program of circus, physical theatre, cabaret, and comedy. 

As part of the festival, musical group Lime Cordiale will perform with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra on June 11. Get tickets for the Adelaide Cabaret Festival here.

The Harlem Globetrotters basketball team will be dribbling their way to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on June 26 as part of their 100-year celebration tour. To celebrate years of awe-inspiring dunks and unbelievable tricks, get tickets here.

Markets

The award-winning Souk Market is returning to Adelaide on June 20. The event, presented by the Australian Refugee Association, is a cultural journey with over 100 stallholders from more than 30 countries.

Guests can expect a curated mix of global street food and specialty food products, artisan traders and unique handcrafted goods, and cultural performances.

Looking for a fresh fit for the second half of the year? The XChange Vintage Market is coming back to Adelaide on June 28.

The XChange Markets will be in The Market Shed at Holland, providing a unique vintage and second-hand shopping experience from 50 curated vendors.

Fundraising

Charity Organisation Puddle Jumpers is hosting The Greatest Gala at the Adelaide Convention Centre on June 13. 

The Greatest Gala will be an unforgettable evening of live music, auctions, raffles and carnival-inspired sideshows. Food and alcohol will also be provided.

All proceeds from the event will support vulnerable and at-risk children as well as families and individuals left without support who attend Puddle Jumpers’ camps, activity days and food hubs. Get tickets here.

Why not get in the Pride Month spirit with the Pinnacle Foundation’s Big Queer Charity Quiz Night on June 12?

Grab a few mates and be ready to raise money for support scholarships, mentoring and opportunities for LGBTQIA+ Australians, all while enjoying a night of trivia, drinks and laughs.

Hosted by South Australian icon Matt Gilbertson at the Fullarton Park Community Centre, the event promises to be a “hilariously camp night”. Get tickets here.
